High Vibe PR has been the agency of record for Overwolf, the guild for in-game creators, for the last four years working to lay the foundation for “in-game creators,” a term Overwolf coined to categorize this new generation of in-game app creators and mod authors by amplifying  and creator stories and highlighting the meteoric rise of UGC.

From announcing groundbreaking acquisitions that underscored the viability of in-game apps and mods as legitimate business to spotlighting individual creators who turned their passion into successful businesses, High Vibe has played a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing this emerging creator category. Through consistent placement of these stories, High Vibe has solidified the presence of these creators within the ecosystem.

Transforming the RPG experience for players old and new

Lightforge Games has been on a mission to establish a new genre of RPG, the Collaborative Storytelling Role Playing Game. High Vibe PR partnered with Lightforge Games to help the studio ramp up for the launch of their first game, Project O.R.C.S. We created a strategy to position the all-remote team as an innovative game changer who is bridging the gap between tabletop role-playing and virtual RPGs. 

  • We secured multiple opportunities that showcased many of the facets of what makes Lightforge Games unique, including their open salary policy, the efforts to make tabletop role playing accessible, and the incredible innovations that came with Project O.R.C.S.

    Those opportunities include an interview with PC Gamer about how Project O.R.C.S. is shaking up the entire RPG genre, an interview with former ESPN journalist Jacob Wolf about CEO Matt Schembari’s path from Epic Games to Lightforge Games, an interview with Forbes about how Project O.R.C.S. is breaking barriers around tabletop gaming, and an interview with Sophie Vo of the Rise and Play podcast about Lightforge Games’ new approach to game studio culture.

Amplifying the Impact of The Most Active Investment Fund in Gaming and Esports

The Return of Real-Time Strategy

Blizzard veterans Tim Morten, former Production Director for StarCraft II; and Tim Campbell, original Lead Campaign Designer for WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne; approached us to announce a funding round alongside the launch of Frost Giant Studios, a game studio that is on a mission to bring real-time strategy (RTS) games to a broad audience.

Frost Giant Studios is focused on boldly advancing the RTS genre, and High Vibe PR played a vital role in its mission by getting this message across to key media targets.

  • High Vibe PR created opportunities for Frost Giant Studios to elaborate on their vision by interviewing with top-tier media including WashingtonPost and VentureBeat. 

    We established Frost Giant Studios as the studio to watch by securing over 130 media placements spanning more than 10 countries, with countless excited RTS fans online.

    We were also able to expand on their momentum by announcing their advisory partnership with Dreamhaven and licensing deal with Epic Games, creators of Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).

Introducing Zeedz: A Mobile Game Taking a Stand Against Climate Change

In the saturated mobile gaming arena, Zeedz.io aspired to stand out, not just with innovative gameplay, but with a mission to combat climate change. Further elevating their profile, they celebrated a notable win on "Die Höhle der Löwen," Germany's equivalent to the famed American show, "Shark Tank." Entrusted with this narrative, High Vibe PR had a dual responsibility: spotlight this unique game's dual purpose of entertainment and education, and amplify its commitment to driving real-world environmental impact.
